Booster Mtg. in library on 2/12 at 7pm. We will collect any remaining booster, Florida, Durant, jersey, hat(s) fees…

Only 1 player (Santiago) needs to turn in their travel arrangements for FL. Still missing 7 notarized FL forms from players. I am showing 5 people paid for hats (JV/F $20) (VAR $40). I am showing 8 paid for jersey (if you needed me to order one), $58.

Physicals and forms can be found on Final Forms at https://dublin-oh.finalforms.com. You will need a current up-to-date physical to tryout on 2/18 and 2/19 or you cannot tryout per OHSAA. All other Final Form documents need signed as well.
I am showing that 11 people need to sign up on Final Forms and tell it that Baseball is a sport they are trying out for so I can see all of your forms.

I am showing 5 players utilize EpiPens – make arrangements with your coach to get him a pen and clearly mark his name on it.

The training staff will do a Baseline Concussion Test a week or so after we begin practice. FYI.

Practice times on Monday and Tuesday 2/18 and 2/19: JV 9-11am, VAR 12-2:30, Freshman 6-8pm. All programs in the state will begin that Monday. We will culminate our Tryouts on Tuesday and let players know who needs to come back on Wednesday. Practice that week will be Monday thru Saturday. Any jersey bought and the player does not make the team, will be reimbursed.

Practice times Wednesday thru Friday will be as followed: Freshman after school 3-4:45, JV 4:45-6:30, VAR 6:30-9pm. Saturday will be VAR 8-9:45, JV 9:45-11:30, Freshman 11:30-1:15. All are mandatory practices.

Website for clothing closes on 2/11. https://group.ordermygear.com/d2581636-77b4-437e-5830-893b6c87a88f/

Older guys, stirrups were ordered and will be sold on a first come basis for $10. They are Forest Green with Vegas and White stripes.

Game schedules are on www.jeromebaseball.com AFTER you log in, you can go to Documents.

Once you get me hat money and jersey money you will be issued your hat(s) and jersey if you ordered one. No hats or jersey will be handed out without payment as we were stuck with an enormous bill last year.

Freshman, JV, and/or Varsity coaches MAY elect to do 6am conditionings coming up, just giving you a heads up… they will let each group know soon.

We have purchased Under Armour shorts and a performance logo’ed shirt and another white cotton practice t-shirt to hand out to the kids that paid their Booster Fee. A $70 value. Those will be handed out the first week of practice. Kids will be expected to wear one of the two practice shirts and baseball pants and turfs with a hat for EVERY practice.

Freshman that are not going to Disney, you may go on Spring Break ONE TIME ONLY. Your sophomore thru senior year you are expected to do whatever the team is doing for that week, FYI.

Twitter site as well is – @jeromebaseball1

All busses will leave and drop off from the tennis courts area to away games and scrimmages. FYI. Varsity has a locker room at the field. JV and Freshman will have a locker room open ONCE basketball is complete with their season in one of he varsity locker rooms at Jerome. Their materials must be locked up to ensure safety. If their bat bag is too large to put in the locker, they need to visit the AD to make arrangements or keep it in the baseball garage.

There will be times thru the week that practice will be in the aux gym and not the facility so we can time up drills and long toss.

Some of our guys are currently doing Hot Yoga. See Carson Rengel or Hayden Schell, both seniors, if interested.

Our lifting days throughout the season are on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-7pm. There may be days the coach will adjust practice times to accommodate weight training. Speaking of changing practice times, we are at the mercy of weather, so if it is nice, we will go outside if we can. Be prepared to have in your locker, an old pair of cleats, long sleeves, old sweatshirt, etc. to weather the elements. That means all levels will be after school then and be done by 5 or 6.

Typically on an away game, players will hit quickly after school in the hitting facility and then go to wait for their bus at the tennis court area with all of their equipment. If they have a longer trip, they will forgo the hitting and go wait for the bus.

Will pass along more as it comes available…

Go Celts!
