Spring Break 2022

Posted by DUBLIN JEROME CELTIC BASEBALL at Aug 12, 2021 5:18PM PDT

Hello, hope all is well!

We recently released on Twitter our Varsity schedule for 2022. In that release, you may have noticed there is no plans to attend and travel to Florida this season. We did that for a couple reasons, one, we do not know the extent of this recent rise in Covid cases and where we will be in 7 months. Nor do we know the variant strands that accompany such a disease. So instead of booking all the details of a trip of this magnitude, and believe me it is quite overwhelming, we have decided not to go this year. It would save us last minute of trying to find 5-6 games last minute which at that point would be near impossible.

I would much rather be on the safe side of the coin and keep the kids safe. Who knows if Dublin schools would even allow us to go at this point. We have a healthy schedule for Varsity and JVA and have several JVB games over break. Remember we allow Freshman only to go on spring break with their families if they so choose. This has been our policy for going on 18 years now.

Thanks and stay safe!
Coach H
